TEHRAN A delegation headed by the Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Mostafa Moin, arrived in Masqat for a four-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman. Moin held discussions with Mohammad ibn al-Zabir, the economic planning advisor of Sultan Qabous and the chancellor of Sultan Qabous University.

The Oman news agency reported that both sides expressed views on different issues, including the exchange of students and the possibility of Farsi language courses being taught at this university in the future.

Moin invited Zabir to visit Iranian universities and they agreed that an Omani delegation should visit Iran to pave the way for further cooperation.

The Omani news agency said that the current visit of Iran's minister of science, research and technology comes in the framework of ongoing cooperation between Iranian universities and Sultan Qabous University.
